Provided a brief update on the progress to date for environmental and cultural surveys – 96 sites assessed to date, at least 126 in total will be completed by March 2020. All SPAs have now been reviewed.
Opening remarks from Parks Victoria’s CEO
The roundtable’s input is appreciated to assist Parks Victoria to prioritise sites to be assessed. Initial observations will be presented today but it is important to note that there is no change to access, at this stage.

Fourth rock climbing roundtable

Happy new year. We hope you enjoyed the festive season and we send our condolences to those impacted by the fires.
Attached are the meeting notes from the last meeting to be shared with your members.
The fourth rock climbing roundtable has been scheduled for Thursday 5 March 2020, from 3.00 – 6.00pm, at the Parks Victoria Melbourne office, Level 10, 535 Bourke Street, Melbourne. You can also join from the Halls Gap office, 277 Grampians Road, Halls Gap.
Lastly, a Mount Arapiles Tooan State Park community information session is being held on Wednesday 29 January 2020, from 5.00 – 7.00pm, at Natimuk Community Centre NC2. A Licensed Tour Operator session is also being held on the same day from 1.00 – 3.00pm.
